Day in the life family sessions are fast becoming my favourite thing to shoot. Earlier in the year I ran a little competition on my facebook page asking families to get in touch and tell me how they would spend the perfect Sunday. I was inundated with responses and ideas and the things that people get up to on a Sunday… wow!
The majority of families said a lazy morning, pancakes for brekkie and then a slow walk around the woods or favourite park. Maybe a drink in a pub, then home to play games, eat a roast dinner with all the trimmings and finish the day snuggled up on the sofa in pjs watching a film together. All off the above depicts my perfect Sunday too, we ALWAYS have pancakes on a weekend, it has become our thing! So I was thrilled when the Murphy family were the ones picked out of the hat and announced the winners.
Kayleigh and Jack invited me into their home with huge open arms and before I knew it I was being led by the hand up the stairs to look at all the Moana posters on the wall and introduced to all the teddies in Ena’s room. I had so much fun with these guys. They were all so happy, so smiley and so loving. Just like you expect any young family to be. They laughed, they giggled, little Albie had a nap whilst we played at the park, this family also made yummy scones the proper way, (cream then jam!!!) I had such an awesome time hanging out with them, so with that said I cant make you wait any longer: This is the fun loving, pizza making, tomato paste licking, giggling, bed bouncing Murphy family.
