Claire and Tom were my first and potentially my last 2020 wedding. These two squeezed in their wedding moment before we went into lockdown!

I have known Claire for 17 years now and it was a real honour to be with her on her wedding day. The day started chilling out at home, getting ready with friends and the wonderful Kayleigh Knox coming in to do hair and makeup. Claire then slipped into her stunning wedding dress from Boo Bridal, I cried (quite a lot!) and we were all ready for the off.

We jumped into the car and sped off to the Registry office where lovely Tom was anxiously waiting to see Claire walk down the aisle. Tom’s smile when Claire walked in gave me goosebumps – You know when you see something and it is just so right… these two are totally that! After the I do’s and beautiful reading by Claires Aunt, we all headed to The Watership Down Inn in Whitchurch for one of the most delicious meals I have had in a very long time. (If you are local, I really recommend booking in!) The speeches had us all giggling, even more so when we all found Tom scribbling his words on a napkin in the bar moments beforehand! I took Tom and Claire out for some super quick group photos and some portraits of the two of them together before it got dark. Then we all jumped on a coach for a quick trip down the road to Bombay Sapphire.

The place looked stunning, Claire and Tom had dressed the room fantastically with festoon lighting, the dance floor was prepped and ready and the Mill Bar was packed with people enjoying really rather amazing Gin cocktails (which I did have a few of!) All night long The Freight Train Runners kept everyone on their feet dancing and the super yummy Travelling Glutton kept everyone fed so we could all keep partying on!

It was a day full of fun, laughter and smiles and one I will remember for a really long time!
